Zipline Tours FAQ

We are following the requirements set by the state of Oklahoma. If you or anyone in your party is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or is unsure about participating due to COVID-19 concerns, we ask that you do not participate.

You should plan for about 1.5 hours to 2 hours from the time you check in until completion.

$85 per person.

BRING ID FOR CHECK IN

Dress appropriately for the weather on the course. All participants are required to wear closed-toed shoes with a heal strap (No high heels). Tennis shoes or hiking boots work well. Wear comfortable clothing but avoid loose clothing (no scarves, swim suits, etc.) and long hair must be secured back. Leave all jewelry and other valuables locked in your vehicle or at home. Rugaru Adventures is not responsible for property lost, damaged or stolen during your tour.

All activities have inherent risks. Our course is designed to mitigate these risks and meets applicable zip-line standards.

Rugaru guides are trained, and certified for your safety and enjoyment. This training consists of multi-day, hands-on instruction including safety and rescue. Prior to certification, guides must pass a written assessment test, an on-course practical assessment and rescue assessment.

Our zip lines and safety equipment are inspected periodically per state and industry standards and zip lines use a state-of-the-art automatic braking system to further ensure the safety of our guest.

Children under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

The required participant weight range to zip line is 70 to 250 pounds and the harness must fit correctly. We discreetly weigh each participant when they arrive to our office for the safety of our guides and guests.

Guests must not be taller than 6’6″.

All guests must sign a waiver. In addition, guests under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian’s signature on a waiver before zipping.

Many get nervous about heights, but our professional, trained guides go with you at all times to make sure of a positive experience. No one is forced to do anything they are uncomfortable doing.

We do, but we will close the course in the event of lightning, high winds, thunder storms or other weather related issues that could effect safety. If we know in advance that we will be closed, we will use every effort to notify you directly. If a tour is cancelled due to weather, you can either rebook or we will refund the tour cost. If you get halfway through the course, and we cancel due to weather, you will get a partial refund. If your tour gets cancelled due to weather before you go out, then you will get a full refund.

Industry standard on tipping is 20%.

This depends on the season. If you arrive without a reservation, we will try to accommodate you, but safety and best practice standards must be maintained.

• All sales final.
• If we cancel your tour due to weather or other unforeseeable condition, we will reschedule your tour for another time, or give you a full refund… your choice.
• If you are late, you will not receive a refund or be able to join your tour. Your tour and guide will leave as scheduled whether you are there or not.
• If you get halfway through the course, and we cancel due to weather, you will get a partial refund. If your tour gets cancelled due to weather before you go out, then you will get a full refund.

No, we only allow guests that are ziplining on our course.
