You should plan for about 1.5 hours to 2 hours from the time you check in until completion.

Dress appropriately for the weather on the course. All participants are required to wear closed-toed shoes with a heal strap (No high heels). Tennis shoes or hiking boots work well. Wear comfortable clothing but avoid loose clothing (no scarves, swim suits, etc.) and long hair must be secured back. Leave all jewelry and other valuables locked in your vehicle or at home. Rugaru Adventures is not responsible for property lost, damaged or stolen during your tour.

All activities have inherent risks. Our course is designed to mitigate these risks and meets applicable zip-line standards.

Rugaru guides are trained, and certified for your safety and enjoyment. This training consists of multi-day, hands-on instruction including safety and rescue. Prior to certification, guides must pass a written assessment test, an on-course practical assessment and rescue assessment.

Our zip lines and safety equipment are inspected periodically per state and industry standards and zip lines use a state-of-the-art automatic braking system to further ensure the safety of our guest.

Children under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

The required participant weight range to zip line is 70 to 250 pounds and the harness must fit correctly. We discreetly weigh each participant when they arrive to our office for the safety of our guides and guests.

Many get nervous about heights, but our professional, trained guides go with you at all times to make sure of a positive experience. No one is forced to do anything they are uncomfortable doing.

If we know in advance that we will be closed, we will use every effort to notify you directly. If a tour is cancelled due to weather, you can either rebook or we will refund the tour cost. If you get halfway through the course, and we cancel due to weather, you will get a partial refund. If your tour gets cancelled due to weather before you go out, then you will get a full refund.

Industry standard on tipping is 20%.

This depends on the season. If you arrive without a reservation, we will try to accommodate you, but safety and best practice standards must be maintained.

At least 18 years old with a valid Drivers License

Rugaru Adventures will provide an optional damage waiver at check-in to pay a damage deposit in the event you damage one of our vehicles.  The amount for the coverage is $10 per car.  If you elect to waive the damage deposit, you will be responsible for the repair expenses. Repair costs.
